Hi More dumb questions from me
I need to (occassionally) transfer files from my phone to a PC at work, and (occassionally) recharge my phone at work, so I was wondering:
1. If I get one of these cheopo Chinese USB data cables from ebay, will that automatically charge at the same time, or is the SE cable specifically designed to charge at the same time.
2. Is there any reason why I should get something that's described as a 'USB charger' over a 'USB data cable' - are they the same?
3. As I found on this thread http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=123981 the phone won't exchange data via USB without installing drivers. But if I just want to recharge via USB and not swap data, can I just plug in and ignroe the new hardware wizard?
Thanks |

As soon as you plug in the supplied USB cable to your K750 from your PC it will start charging, regardless on whether USB drivers are installed or not.
Once the USB drivers are installed you will then see your K750 on your PC as an external drive.
The K750i can even recharge off a Playstation 2 using the K750 USB cable (DCU-9).
So a simple USB connection will charge your phone.
Also, charging your phone via USB will only charge it to 88%-91%. It never charges to 100%. |

from what i have seen, without the drivers, the phone will show its charging, but the batt will not increase.

need proper drivers to enable the charge via usb function for your phone. while you're at it, get yourself a usb thermal mug. i got one myself (i have a powered usb port). keeps my coffee piping hot with every sip i take ^_^
