k750i - connect to PC without installing software ? |

Can I swap files via USB from my k750i to my PC without using software?
It's my work laptop so I can't install software, and bluetooth & infrared are disabled. If I connect my digi camera via USB Win XP recognises it straight away and lets me copy images - I'd like to be able to do this with my phone.

katykaty Win XP usually detects the three drivers, you have to install them and then once you plug the phone again it will detect it just like your camera, although it will detect only the card

Drivers must be installed first since K750 doesn't support USB 2.0... |

If your laptop has a memory stick slot, just use that to transfer the files...
If not, you can buy a usb adapter for pennies. |

Thanks all
Just plugging in didn't work - XP recognised the phone but started the New Hardware Wizard - if I cancelled out it wouldn't find the phone or memory stick.
I'll try mervingiblet's solution - if I can find a USB card reader that doesn't need drivers I'll be sorted.
