Help Needed! memory card not being read on K-JAM |

its not being read on my K-JAM.
its able to read on the memory card reader. 
when I insert it in the PDA, it gives the following message:
Total storage card memory: Not installed 
what do you guys think can be the problem with it?
I have formatted it, but its still not working.
HELP!

Make a backup of your memory card so you don't loose your stuff and format the card, I guess it will all be fine then. |

I have already formatted it thinking that it will work after the format.
but its still not able to read on the K-JAM.
it gives the error message I mentioned in the first post.
