I have finally got a Bang & Olufsen serene today and have to say its probally the moust unique phone i have ever laid eyes on. It uses a scroll wheel and keypad, has a motorised flip, screw sealed battery cover, metal hinge and plastic cover.

When you look at it closed you have no idea its a phone, when you look at it open you look at it and think holy shit, how did they do that.

The build quality is amazing, even though its small and light it feels strong, the screen is the best I have ever seen, its more impressive the the one on the w810i and d600. And one thing that has to be said is the ring tone/quality, it sounds so pure its unreal.

Anyone want some piccy's?

i was given a demo in a B&O shop recently, and the motorised flip is cool when in the dock.

The Tilt sensitive screen was a cool feature , but ive already got that on my Sony NW-HD5.

finish is nice, and the ringtones are natural and great quality.

£850 is a bit steep for a mobile that has no more than a VGA cam and little else but hey, its a B&O... [addsig]

ori snap! awsome, I didnt know nayone else with one of these althoguh you do live a long way away from me lol One question i do have is when you flip the phone screen round to table mode how do you keep this on all the time? Every time I flip it close it changes back.

The scroll wheel is actuually really nice, very refreshing to use and perfect for me.

texting is right now quite hard although its getting easier I myself love the fact you can rest it on a desk and it looks like some weird onrament lol.

@ whiz - nothings to expensive if you have no regard for money lol, even if you die poor you may have led the best life you could have (me trying philosipy lol)
