Product Red is the brainchild of U2 frontman Bono, will on Monday unveil a red version of Motorola's SLVR handset. Buy the phone and £5 ($9.50) goes straight to combating the diseases that are ravaging Africa.
This is the same campaign that was rumoured to announce the Limited Edition Red ipods, although no word yet if that is going to happen if at all.

It may also be of interest to note that if you use this handset with any contract (Pay Monthly) sim card on a UK network, 5% of your monthly bill (including line rental) is also automatically donated to the campaign.
Please note: It is not necessary to buy the handset on any particular network in order to help the charity - the system works by tracking IMEI numbers transmitted when a call is made.
So that's £10 for each phone sold (£5 from CPW, £5 from Motorola) plus 5% of monthly spend for contract users - all goes to Project Red with no cost to the consumer!
