Skip 7800gs. Go for the 7600GT or even much better a 7900GT both runs on PCIex16 bus. Be sure to have atleast a 450w power supply with 20a on 12v rail. You can play oblivion with a single 7600GT on medium with HDR enabled settings and 7900GT on High with just an average performance. Oblivion shines when you have 2 7900GT on SLI configuration.

Well my budget is around £100, so I've been scouring eBay, but no success yet. Is it worth just saving for ages and getting the 7900GTX OC 512Mb? They're like £400 though!!! I want a PS3, so I'm just wondering whether I should jsut get a 7600 and be done with it....
Decisions desicions!!!
Cheers

personally id go for the cheaper one mate, only because the price drop on graphics cards is so steep! i currently have a Geforce 6600GT which runs most games fine, will probably thnk about upgrading early next year (with vista on teh horizon etc....) also that leaves you with extra wonga for your PS3
