Aaah...I think Airtel Online is a wap portal...and the default browser on PPC devices..Pocket IE does not handle wml pages.... But I guess you can install Opera for PPC and use it to access Airtel Online....but if im not mistaken..you will need to define another access point for that. Also... if you have not installed a lot f stuff already...perform a hard reset. that should fix the caps I issue.. Anyway... I woldnt bother too much with wap pages...when i have a full fledged excellent html browser on my device

@Evil Eye - The caps problem may be that you have caps lock on? When you are typing try pressing the dot key then the Shift key.

There you go http://www.opera.com/download/get.pl?id=27691

This should give you a cab file...just copy and paste the file onto the memory card of the KJam....then use the file manager on the phone to access this file and run it by double clicking..it will install Opera 8.5 for WM 2005....its a beta version for now...but ill also send you some links to websites where you can download loads of software for pocket pc devices and im usually awake till the wee hours of the morning...and online...so ill keep you company... do you have a yahoo messenger id?

I have no trouble viewing wap pages in pocket IE on my k-jam. I have opera but its rubbish and no longer use it.

its worth getting SPB pocket plus for its IE extensions including multiple IE windows etc

as for the shift problem... its unfortunate that windows mobile doesn't show you the shift status, or sym status, or spot key status yb default but if you use a registry editor and create an entry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\ControlPanel\\Keybd as EnableIndicator and set it to dword value of 1 you will get a status indicator in the lower status bar which will tell you the status of shift and these other functions I mentioned

@masseur.. is the pocket ie on wm2005 an upgraded version of the one in wm2003 devices... i could not open wap pages using ie on the jam..but Opera handled them just fine.....pocket ie was however, much stabler and lighter on system resources than Opera PPC.
@manish...why do you want Opera "mini" when you can have the full fledged version

@mrao, I also had problems with WM2003SE viewing wap and tended to use a 3rd party app, but I have no problem in WM5 and indeed the connection automatically changes from full internet GPRS data account to my wap data account for such pages

Yahoo messenger is not pre-installed...MSN messenger is....and it works quite well...However if you want a multi-protocol IM application there are quite a few good ones available... Agile, Verichat being some of them....Personally I preferred verichat...mainly because i was comfortable using it on my P series.

I used to use yahoo's offering for windows mobile but they closed the portal and you can no longer use their own client

there is also an ICQ beta version 1 (its been beta for a couple of years now) which still works fine but MSN probably the best option on WM5 as its fully integrated including full hotmail support

@manish...can you post a screenshot... of the download error...
Also..SPB Pocket Plus recommended by masseur is a must-have app... other than a great desktop and other features..it also adds multi window browsing capability to the inbuilt ie browser
