I heard from people that W810 is or will be on Cingular. Lol, I really hope not, I like to imagine my W800 unique from other cellphones.

I believe W810 will hit Cingular and maybe many people will make this a common cellphone like the RAZR. Well, that is for america I mean.

Actually, it isn't "on" cingular but it can be used with cingular. Also, it doesn't seem to be a problem with reception. I have a full signal about everywhere I go. It will drop a call with no warning while I have a full signal. So far I've found no way to fix this. I'm going to upgrade my sim card this weekend to see if that helps anything. I called sony ericsson but they just told me to try a master reset(didn't help) and to try another sim card and to call back if I still have problems. I talked to Cingular and they weren't much help either.

will you be getting the new 3G-capable sim card? i already have one, but i haven't received my w810 yet. i'm getting scared with the dropped calls issue. will update as soon as i receive the phone.

Mine seems to be picky about where it drops calls. At work I haven't dropped a single call. At home 5 miles away they drop every 5 minutes or so. I'm gonna get a new sim card this weekend and try that out.

Sorry for the misleading info above, I just assumed from getagrip15's earlier post that the phone was purchased through Cingular...
