Bluetooth transfer problem with k750i/R1BC002 on Mac OS X |

Updated my k750i today to firmware R1BC002 from something terribly old. Everything great until I try to transfer files to my phone via bluetooth!
If I do one file, it's okay. If I do any more than that, I get a message in Bluetooth File Exchange saying "Waiting for target to reply".
Nothing happens...then the connection is lost.
Does anyone know what I can do about this? Don't want to have to cart the cable around with me to transfer files!
Thank you,
Lawrence. |

Have you tried completely deleting all pairing information from the phone and Mac and then re-pairing the phone?
What version of OS X are you using?
On the phone, check the following setting:
Settings > Connectivity> Bluetooth > My Devices > Select your Mac > More > Allow connection > Always

Cheers,
I just tried re-pairing the phone, and yeah the "always" is checked, but same behaviour.
(PS. 10.4.5...)

Okay, well, suppose I pair the device. Then, I can transfer a single file. Any more, and I get "waiting for target to reply".
Neither restarting the phone nor restarting Bluetooth File Exchange will remedy it, only re-pairing. Which will only let me do one more file...
This only since firmware update.

Update:
Retrieving files *from* the phone is fine...thank God!
It just doesn't reply when the computer wants to send...

Be thankful that its only bluetooth problems your having.
Immediately after I upgraded to R1BC002 all of the top buttons of the phone stopped working
I'd run a mile for a snowdevl! |
