Probably 90% of the 2Gb msduos on ebay are fake.

Are you a big red end, or a big bell end?
90% of the ones on eBay are definately not fake, most are being sold by powersellers. Not sure how you can say that.
eBay is amazingly safe to use as long as you make sure the person at the other end is reputable, and to be honest, that's not that hard to do.
Would say getting your card from eBay is your best bet for a good price.

Agree with daz - you'll get a better price, but given your justified concerns, it seems a reasonable price to pay for peace of mind.
I know that CPW will be selling them for £97.49 when stock arrives, so that's a decent benchmark.

Just realised big bellend sells 1gb cards, so is probably just trying to promote his sales? Who knows...

I don't need to promote my sales, I have actually bought at least 3 2 Gb memory sticks off ebay and all have been proven to be copies.
Ha ha ha @ dazbradbury. Big bell end . That's almost moderatly amusing !

so those 2 GB cards you had for sale on esato were fake then.... tut tut big red end
daz you're right... I've bought 2gb cards of ebay for £65 - £70 and use them with no problems whatsoever, both in psp's & various mobiles...
Just 'cos we're on esato doesn't we're mugs ... sales-wise |

good comment Bigredend............. i got my "copy" 2GB from the States Power user........... $155:00 plus shipping. I am so happy that my "copy" holds everything that i throw at it and it reads the speeds that are stated. ( high speed)
Sigh.......... thank god for "copies" huh? ( Sandisk)

I just won one on ebay tonight for $73.00 US and $17.00 US shipping.
thats less than $100 US which is like 50 pounds (I do not know the symbol you use there) or like 83 or so Euro.
Best deal I have seen so far.
I doubt its a fake, reputable seller, but I will let you all know when it comes in.
looking forward to it....need more space

Yes the 2Gb cards I tried to sell were Fake, I didn't know at the time, once I found out I withdrew. Like I said previously, I've bought a few Fake 2gb's from ebay, and not had any problems with them, I was just warning other users

I ordered 2 x SONY 2GB HIGH SPEED MEMORY STICK PRO DUO cards from Ebay which came to a total of £158.48- three weeks ago!!! It's the deadline today and the seller stated they've been 'lost in the post' if i have not received by today. So i've sent a message asking for replacements- hopefully i'll get 'em eventually!

| mmmmm things like that gets me nervouse from buying on ebay i say to my self sometimes is the hassle worth it at all, of the worrying and doubting, i just try to look for it cheaper anywhere else on the internet ie electonic goods websites like expansys.com or play.com pixmania.com etc, it maybe expensive than ebay but my heart is at rest.
hope you get your replacements.
