hi every1 now recently all my friends have finally caught on to the SE bandwagon after years of me telling them that SE are the way forward. all my friends now have k750i or w800 and i was just wanting to set up the "my friends" instant messenger between us to see how it works so my understanding of it is that u can txt messages to each other (through wap) but only getting DATA charges is this correct?
also do O2 branded K750 have "my friends"
thanks for any answers |

Here's the Yamigo thread. Hopefully this gets you on your way.
I haven't used it for about six months because of reliability issues.

You could also get one of the messenger programs that allows you to use msn messenger or yahoo messenger and only charge you for data as well.
I previously used agile and I found it very good! |

@ianinkane: Apps like Agile and VeriChat are only for smartphones. Another good free java IM app for the K750/W800 is mxit which can be found at www.mxit.co.za

@frank2345babies
Don't bother with the Yamigo site, it seems to have been abandoned.
Use Smartvas instead, it is much more reliable, free, but can only be used with MSN at the moment.
I have posted a set up guide here.
post on that thread if you need any help
