Hi guys! I'm new in forum community.I'm asking for help. Does any body can help me to set up communication between my K700i infrared and MAC OS X Powerbook G4 i have? What setting should I have in lap top and my phone? Thank you!!!

What do you want to do with this IR connection? If you're hoping to use iSync you're out of luck because SonyEricsson phones only sync over Bluetooth with Macs.

The only thing you'll be able to do is connect to the internet (very slowly) and possibly send files using GSM Remote.

I would 1000% recommend getting a USB Bluetooth dongle as they are just so much more convenient than IR.

However, if you decide to try IR, you'll need to get a modem script from http://www.taniwha.org.uk/ and have a read through this Mac Guide (PDF) which should give you some tips.

Also, you should check out the "Apple Macintosh and Sony Ericsson issues" thread as thats where all the Mac people post.

Thank you for reply! I've got success with "Phone Agent "program www.clubsonyericsson.com/en/software_macintosh.shtml But still can't able transferee pictures trough infrared, by using any of those program.
