This is only effective on MemoryStick or MemoryStick Pro (not SD, CF or other). You can make your MS capacity nearly twice larger (Wow). For instance, if you have a 512MB MS, you can make it become a 1GB MS with this simple tip. Don't be so hot, this is a really experience that you've been ever believe before (Tested on Sandisk MSPro 512MB ==> 950MB)...
Requirements:
- MS or MSPro Card.
- A CardReader or something like that.
- Your PC with Windows.
Steps:
- Connect your MS to your PC via CardReader.
- Backup all your data on MS to your PC for later restore.
- On your PC, go to Cotrol Panel => Administrative Tools => Computer Management => Disk Management.
- Choose your MS (now as a drive). Delete it by click on the (X) icon on the command bar (format it to the origin form)
- Now, your MS drive will be Unallocated. Right click on it, choose Newpartition. Then next Finish. Don't forget to specify the smallest partition size
- review your MS and now it would be twice large, you can store more...
- Restore your data into "new" MS.
