Hi all,
First off, I am new today to this site, and it has blown my mind, nice one guys.
OK, I have a T68i (What an amazing phone!)
I've eventually got uploading a picture from my PC to my phone through bluetooth working, using MPM, through a virtual COM Port and using the Ericsson MyPictures software.
Now though, when I go into My Pictures in the phone and try to send a picture via BlueTooth to my PC it is greyed out , even when I am connected fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

UPDATE:
When I have my virtual com port connected, the option to send a picture via bluetooth from my phone is greyed out.
When I disconnect the virtual com port, the option is now available. But when I click on it, it searches and finds my computer but fails to connect.
any ideas?

Your pc bluetooth device doesn't support object push profile. My pictures software transfers pictures trough serial port profile.

OK I think I do have the OBEX Object Push but I'm not sure. I have the TDK bluetooth USB Adaptor. Has anyone else had success using this one?
Is there a TDK software update I could apply (can't find any info on bluetooth at their site)?
If I didn't have the Object Push would I be able to send pictures from the PC to the phone (which I am able to do)?
Has anyone had success getting a picture to the PC via IR on Windows 2000? If so, can someone help me, as when I enable IR on my PC, I don't get the Systray Icon. The Outlook Synchronisation does work, but sending a Picture doesn't, I just get "connection failed"?
Thanks guys!

@Moldy
I am buying a tdk BT adapter tomorrow. I went into Tdk:s site but didn't either find any info on BT produkts. I mailed them yesterday and the site is: http://www.tdksystems.com/
Tadaa! There is new software and stuff. I really hope that you can transfer pictures from the phone to the pc.
Look at www.christersson.org for very good BT apps.! |

No as yet there is no software update that will allow you to send pictures from the phone to the pc with a tdk adaptor. However the faq on their site mentions that this functionality will be in software release 1.2.3, it just does not say when it will be available. The latest software is 1.2.2.15

It is true what EddWo says. I have a TDK bluetooth pc card and I can also not sent any pictures or ringtones to my computer. We will just have to wait for the release of the software update. |

Here's hoping they get that driver update out as soon as possible.
does anyone know which number on my tdk bluetooth adaptor the serial number is? i.e. what it looks like? |

I am using the Belkin Bluetooth Dongle and the T68i. And while Bluetooth works great for syncing Outlook and sending pics TO the phone (sendfile, mypictures etc.) I have not found a way to transfer pics from the phone TO the pc (other than email). When I send via Bluetooth it just tried to connect (see it on both phone and dongle) and then immediately fails. My phone is on 'ON' (versus Auto) for Bluetooth. What Software do I need on the PC to make this work ?
Thanks.
Daniel.

Read my thread here. Pretty self explanatory. This works for ALL bluetooth USB adaptors.
