Excellent pictures!

Is the flip cover removable.Looks a bit bulky. That is what I like about my P910i.The first thing I did was remove the cover.

From first glance I would be honest to say that I prefer the look of the P910i so I would expect alot more out of the P990 before buying it.Has the P990 REALLY got alot more to offer?

3g, wifi, supports 4gb of memory, 80 internal, higher res, megapixel camera, onbody keyboard...

if you think that's not enough, something is wrong with you.

Hi guys, this is a excellent phone. I was waiting for this type of configuration phone for a long time. I did not change my phone P800 since i first buy it. So its time for me to change and i gonna change it to P990i. Then i gonna utilise all function including 3G/Wifi.

If anyone thinks that this phone is not good enough, then all i have to say is "Damn you! change it to Nokia !!!"

Cheers

Thanks masseur for the pics and info!

The review from mobile-review is interesting, focussing on the hardware. It confirms my suspicions and worries that from the hardware pespective, the P990 is like a step back from the P910, save some enhancements like 2mp camera, Wifi,3G, etc Let's hope the software wins me back! I am curious about the mp3 player though, hope it's a fully fledged one supporting playlists and all!
If it is to be it is up to me!

Well, the cameras in the K750i and in the P990i cannot be called "identical"..

I would imagine it means that the CCDs are identical, even if the lenses are slightly different.

the camera's use cmos chips not ccd.

The P990 looks to have a larger lense (5.5mm as opposed ot K750 4.8mm), so it is more than cosmetic difference between the cameras.

Masseur, thanks again for your findings of those videos.

Sucks there is no audio of the recordings. I did notice that in video 5 the P990's audio subsystem failed/timeout'd. at least they have 3 months to perfect it before it hits full run on the production lines.

I'm hoping they pull a real rabbit outta their hat and surprise everyone with releasing it early; not prematurely.
