London Underground application. |

A few people I know have an application that allows you to plan a journey on the london underground. I'd like to have this but unfortunately the place they got it from (o2's wap site) no longer has it. In another thread someone suggested emailing the makers and asking them for it. I emailed support@visualit.co.uk and they replied with this:
Sorry, we do not have a version of Tube that will work on your K750i.
So how have people managed to get this app on their phone and could they please post a link to it?
Thanks

I downloaded the one from ITAGG but the T610 version doesnt use the full screen. The P800 doesnt let you zoom in. I even tried using a nokia one and wasnt any better.
Anyone get round this? |

Gonna try that now.
By zoom I meant when you look at the T610 version the image is alot larger and you can scroll through the map, (but for some reason you cant use the find function).
Downloaded the SX1 version. The screen is good but the find function doesnt work. Is that the same for you? |

find certainly works for me. I can also use the joystick to scroll around or the numeric keypad to move immediately to one of nine quadrants as defined by the numbers 1 to 9

Ah just found the problem. When you use the find function you have to use right soft key and choose "Ok" instead of left soft key "Select". It then runs doen the lists till the end and finds the desired location. |

I still cannot find a link to the application. Do you have to pay for it by texting?
Everyone I know has got it for free off of 02's Wap site (but they have removed the link), so i'm not paying £1.50 for it and running the risk of some company texting me endless stuff such as the crazy frog ring tone. |

I had an application called "PocketMetro London". You entered which tube staition you were leaving from and which one you were going to, the time/date of departure and it then tells you which train to get on any changes you have to make and the time it will take. Was very good. But as I don't go to London oftern I seem to have deleted it. But I would of got it free as I don't pay for anything if I can help it. Do a google and see if you can find it. |
