Looking for London street maps on K750i |

Hi, does anyone know if there's an application that allows you to search and view london street maps on the K750i? I'm thinking it would have to be a Java app... VisualIT (which makes an app for Symbian family) doesn't seem to do one.
Help?
Thanks,
David.

Theres a few apps out which display maps, but none of them AFAIK have the London map.
You could always take a screenshot from a roadmap website and save it on the K750i - the phone can handle displaying large images which you can zoom in on, who says you can only do it with pictures you've taken with the camera ?

You misunderstand.
There are Java street map apps available, but they're not made for the K750i. Theres a very good chance they'd work however.
The only downside to them is, of the ones ive seen, they all only seem to have Russian city maps (where the app was developed and meant to be used in).
Like i say, we'd all be better off using a map from a site and simply store it on the phone as an image.

Well, since with other pictures you can zoom into them up to 32x, why would it be any different with a streetmap picture ?
Try sending this picture to your K750i:
Then try zooming into it.

Well, just sending the picture to the phone does not work because the zoom command isnt there.
I'll try something else..

this is one thing that is excellent on pocketpc and therefore i-mate JAM etc as microsoft autoroute comes with a pocketpc version
btw, you can get a fully interactive London tubemap
Tube Maps by iTAGG
I just tested it and the T610 version doesn't display big enough on the K750 but the Siemens SX1 versions fit perfectly (since it has the same 176x220 resolution as the K750)

Btw, i figured it out if you couldnt get the example i made to work. I simply edited a spare K750i picture and resent it back to the photos folder. It worked.
Try putting this in the camera pictures folder of your phone using the USB cable:

It seems far simpler to me to copy and paste a map from a website into a picture taken by the K750i. Then you can simply zoom in to what you need.
Also, pictures can be as big as 1632x1224, so you'd fit an entire city id bet on that unless you live in a capital.
