Any1 know if  ever gonna make edge enabled phones??? I saw a crappy Samsung E340 thats edge enabled WTF, y cant use it??  |

S600i is going to have edge. And there are 3G phones: Z1010, Z800(V800) and K600. |

3G, not a fan yet! and not many people have them and its a novelty I hardly use and when I want to showoff my 3G phone the damn networks are congested and its all fuzy and dies!!!
So edge for me fits better!!

The Z500a and S710a are current SE phones with EDGE and the W600i will have EDGE when its released.

We've had a relatively long discussion not long ago regarding this topic. Man, am i disappointed with  thats the only reason i currently have a nokia. But i'll be back!

Does really affect me here in the UK as we dont have EDGE supported by the networks here. We do have 3G now though so there is no need for EDGE.

W600i is a quad-band/EDGE phone for the international market. w600a is tir-band/edge for north america.

Well for more info goto SE's usa site and for the phones in question goto specifications.

Has EDGE class 10!
SE s710 also has Class 10
SE z500 & z520 both have class 10 EDGE.
Now, as for the bands ... it should provide EDGE on all the bands the phone supports, BUT the caution for US in Canada is that Rogers' our only true provider (it owns Fido) EDGE is ONLY offered on the 850Mhz band, thus far.
