ATTENTION

Guyz never try to upload customize_upgrade.xml, coz it will never let u change ur CDA. All it does is disabling the firmware reinstalling(reflashing) option on SEUS.

Your wrong ive done that on 2 K850i's & i was able to use SEUS to debrand them.

No, im not wrong. I tried that trick but it disabled the reinstalling option.
Though i've changed my CDA from C-Asia to S-Asia-levan, but not with the help of that trick.
In order to do that u need not to upload customize_upgrade.xml, u just have to delete some security files and replacing the original customize.xml by any other customize.xml with required CDA.

It's because your doing it all wrong. When you upload the file customize_upgrade.xml, You need to also delete these 2 files cust_menu_data.dat & cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat in this dir TPA\\PRESET\\SYSTEM\\CUSTMENU. After that then you power on your phone, wait till it's fully powered up it could take up to a minute, then shut down & now update using SEUS.

I search all over the net and found out less and less discussion on BROD issue.
Can anyone update me about how the BROD issue now? Is it solved by SE latest firmware? Thanks in advances.

A SUES re-flash will fix it now.

Will it permanently fix k850i for any possibility of BROD?

No, but it SUES puts a viable solution in your hands at your disposal without requiring shipping your phone to a repair center

yes i think so. A K850i fully reflashed with SEUS has no chance to get BROD issue. BROD happend in the past to those only who just updated (didn't reflash) to a newer firmware from some older one via SEUS. [addsig]

1)The BROD still affects 035 no matter how you installed it. It is however, less prevalent than in prior revisions.

2) Re-flashing with the older versions of SEUS was still a full system flash, not as you imply, a patch.
