I get your point.
There's no great reason to trust me.
And I don't play any star here .
However, two reasonable things (since I'm not able to make any proof here)
1. You really believe that SE releases it's flagship on an very old platform and expects any good effects of that? C'mon... That's really funny.
2. Swiss Manager Pro indication in this particular case can be completely unreal. It's a great app, but I remember SMan showing for over a year 16million colours on my P990. Than is was corrected to a proper 262K. So, it's the only indication of this processor we have.
I think that this 208mHz leak is complete bullsh..t.
@doministry
1. I won't trust you if that's the only fact where you based your speculation.
But i'll trust you because you mentioned about an OWNER of the device.
2. gliatiotis confirmed that video recording is only QVGA which gives us an idea about how underpowered the processor is. Secondly, no HSDPA is very nexperia 208mhz. |

You forgot to mention Felcia technology: where you place two phones back to back and you get one instant file transfer, literally in a "beep"
On the bad side to Japanese phones, you cannot transfer files via bluetooth [at least not in the current ones: and btw bluetooth isn't common in japan, they use felcia or infrared port, which is 4-10x faster than our infrared ports) and not all simhacks are 100% stable. |

Well I am currently thinking that they will announce the P5 with the 208mhz pro. and that it will come with the "dissapointing" specs.
But somehow I cannot get the feeling out of my mind that they also have something much bigger to announce.....
For me it seems like they are fasing out or at least changing the position of the P-Series.... Xperia is the new Highend Multimedia line and I think they are going to introduce something that kicks ass within the near future.
All these Leaks of P5 let me belive that it is not the biggest thing coming, its there to distract us from the storm
(Well eventhough this is all just wishful thinking, I hope in some ways its true. I like P5, but I want something that KICKS ASS)!

Are you sure of the name ? I searched for it to find more info about it but couldn't see a thing
so Felcia is faster even than bluetooth ? but only lakes the freedom thing

I wonder just how many other issues that needs to face before increasing the lineup of UIQ phones, or bettering their flagship phone.
* Accessories? Man having the HBH-205, 220, 225 all together is quite redundant - save the costs & marketing dollars & press room site space for something more significant.
* Tennis commercials? Seriously, do you think Serena/Venus Williams really need another $50K to $150K US Dollars next June to keep their names in the minds or aspiring tennis wannabe's or fans so old & outta shape or out of the scene to care what phone they use?!! Although the tennis match with Venus & that dude at the top of a hotel on glass/water covered pool looked REALLY cool > there was NO PHONE/ACCESSORY marketed! At least drop a phone even closely/loosely related to that event. If is not careful they'll loose too much $$ and end up like the next Motorola! (They also had LOTS of cash but didn't manage marketing or clients lines of credits too well).
Flagship! Lets look at the definition of that word: A flagship is the lead ship in a fleet of vessels, a designation given on account of being either the largest, fastest, newest, most heavily armed or, for publicity purposes, the most well known. (straight out of a quick Google search showing 1st link to Wikipedia) Sure this is related to naval fleets but a "flagship" phone is NO different; except being the largest, but its funny how ALL flagship phones, being smartphones are STILL the largest in size to the entire portfolio.
I think engineers or marketing staff completely forgot the other definitions of the word Flagship or what the UIQ phone SHOULD mean, hence the emergence of the Xperia line with X1. I see it as an abandoning cause. Sure they said the two lines will co-exist, but NEVER clarified - nor was it asked - at what state of co-existence. Subservient to Xperia? UIQ relegated to Mid-tier?! Hmm. My mind races.

Excuse me, typo: felica. Many uses of this technology, including transit fare, purchasing products, etc. See website:

Not a unique technology as such. They just use their own brand name for the RFID technology when the standard name for it is NFC (Near Field Communication). Also familiar from the Nokia 6131 NFC. And that NFC (Felica) has indeed quite a bit lower data rate than bluetooth currently has. Felica has 212 kb/s and bluetooth 2.0 has 2.1 Mb/s. Quite a difference.
