I'm very impressed by the g series thus far. I'd love to try them but probably won't get a chance since i'm in the states |

Why didn't they use those icons and interface... it looks better in the video.
It's either a 906i phone, Paris, or a G900. I was very impressed when I saw the G900 but too bad it's not a quaband or UIQ 3.3 [but I can't tell the difference now?].

Integrating the long awaited WiFi b/g combo, Flash Lite 3 and torch feature on G900 was the best thing i would like to note about it it's just confusing that the developer's site only listed WLAN 802.11b while the second release(which i strongly believe was the final one already) whitepaper confirms that it's both WiFi b & g. the Flash Lite 3.0 feature wasn't even listed either on the G900 specs on that siteas well but in whitepaper it was there. seems like they've copy-pasted P1's specs on it causing it to raise confusions over there. i hope SE would revise them all to prevent ambiguity. as a UIQ phone G900 is so far the highest spec'd SE on the smartphone line(excluding X1 of course) before paris arrives
One question, when will the rumored WLAN accessory arrives?

Do you mean the WLAN enabler razec?
Isn't it just a piece of internal hardware for the upcoming A300? |

@Dogmann
I'm deadly serious... I'm referring to (my experience of) real users of 'smartphones' who tend to be using the device simply for the corporate email... And in this instance, specifically Blackberry users like all those at my company.... I understand that certain 'power' users are concerned with data speeds but a large chunk of 'smartphone' users are not using vast amounts of data and therefore are not overly concerned with speeds.
@Theos
Yeah, I have to use both hands on a high maintenance woman rather than just the single handed groping that a non high maintenance lady allows!?!!!
@Prom1
Its not related to that function i'm afraid mate... The phone doesnt give you any indication of a call until it has rung on the callers end a couple of times, this has been tested and proven by myself (worked in the telecommunication industry for 5 years, 5 years ago so still have good general knowledge) and a colleague (who has a degree in computer science so is pretty good also!)
The main point I was making was the fact that nearly all of the Blackberrys we have seem to have had at least one fault along the way, and the general user consensus is that they dont work well as actual phones. I use a P1, and have come to accept that its works better as a phone, but is more sluggish with regards to email... |
