I extensively used my k850 on holiday.
Listened to music everyday, sent texts everyday, and made ~500 pictures.
It worked just fine, crashed once on me..but overall i was pleased with it:)

Same here. Very extensive usage during July, and it works perfectly.
Since December. |

does anyone find accessing your inbox, if you have lots of sms, and you have it catergorised as contacts, so that in each contact folder you have sms from that one person, really slow? when you try access your sms??

With latest 36 firmware, when I check for new email it makes the new email sound but then the No Messages text is displayed. Odd.
Otherwise, pretty happy with the new firmware. No reboots yet, though I haven' t been taking as many photos of late. Phone still slow when multi-tasking (music and anything else) but I don't think firmware will ever fix that! |

Before loading R1FA035 I had re-boots once in a blue moon. With it I get them daily, or like just now, checked my phone and it had turned itself off. Any else have similar trouble? |

My phone behaves normal since the update to R1FA (almost two months ago). Now, it's quite hard to define "normal" when we talk about the K850i, that's a very sensitive subject. In my case it means one (or less) freeze/reboot per week, 4 days or more of battery life and decent pictures when it comes to capture the moment. By the way, with R1FA I never had a dark picture while using the flash, nor a flash burned one and I am close to my 1200th picture with the phone.
K850i was the SE's most superb phone. And failure. Advanced to Android. |

I've got a wild feelings (intuition, whatever it is) about a new firmware coming out in the end of august. Could be wrong though

Guys, I currently have W910 but I'm extremaly disappointed by it's speed. I'm thinking about switching to k850. Is it faster? From extensive tests I've performed I can tell that K750 is sometimes 10x faster in Java applications than w910. How is k850?
Also I would appreciate if you did a little flash speed test. Just download this file
http://www.wrzuta.pl/other/file/xmLriQEbE0/speedtest.swf
and set it as your wallpaper. Please post your results here.
Mine are:
without music playing: ~13 fps
with music playing: ~8 fps
Just did the speedtest on a K850i (green with latest FW) and got ~20 fps without music and with music ~13.
I find the K850i on the latest firmware very stable and fast. You also could go for the C902, I tried both phones out and find the C902 a little bit faster, but the pictures aren't any better (K850i has better flash).
My operator gave me the choice and I sticked with my K850 because of the stability of the latest firmware and the design. So yes I think you should take the K850.
I've got 22fps, 14fps without music on R1FA035.
And my phone tooks 15 seconds to boot-up. In previous firmware (R1EA037) it tooks 25 seconds. And R1EA037 with music playing makes OperaMini walk like a turtle. Everyday always had a restart, underexposure flash pic...
The problem is gone in R1FA035, I don't notice a slowdown when using OperaMini. Flash pic is brighter. I'm quite happy now.
