1200-4400 is not CDA. It's the code for Generic Sofia Firmware.
CDA is under Customisation. |

After resetting and installing the firmware again yesterday using seus, I have started with the random reboots again when writing a txt message.
SE say to send it in for repair, why should I??? THis phone should have been recalled! |

SUES cannot detect my phone anymore. It only shows a phone in Grey color and says "Update not available). Has someone experience this problem? |

I think you should do what i did:
I erased the db folder from the SEUS path (in program files)
Then I ran the SEUS again and then found a new firmware version for my K850.
My case was that SEUS shows I had the latest firmware and ask if I want to continue (no grey phone in my case)

No problems with my K850 after update to latest firmware. Colors of phone are black & silver, but when buy i intend take black & green.
I no knowed which SE as launched black & silver version before see my phone, but if production this model is posterior in comparison with others two (black/green and black/blue), perhaps no have problems of line production.

Yes I Did that. but the problem still persist. no "update anyway" bottom my phone is dead (BROD) and am just trying to reflash it using SUES.

Not a big issue happens due to corrosion just blow off the dust accumulated on the fast port of ur phone or try cleaning it using petrol kinda liquid(tatz hw i do) n it works fine....but be careful while cleaning it.
My phone use invisible shield(film),i-socks and silicon case sometymes... Theyre really clean  !Think the problem are in my pc,not on cellphone... In other pc's the phone works all right,i dont no what to do =/ |

Killfr3nzy,i'll try vista ultimate(now pc suite have a version for).And i found some problems about mother board,the driver's cd isn't the exactly... Maybe this are "disturbing" my PatienCe...
Tryed sp2 too,i have 3 partitions of xp... |

I'm using XP SP3 and no prob at all. And on Vista Ultimate it works fine as well.
Some files of ur system (for usb recognizing) seem to be corrupt that are causing the prob.
Reinstall (clean instal) the PC Suite.

Friends, I have to upgrade my cellphone.I am stuck between the N82 and the K850. Which one's better? Also will SE give another firmware to iron out the minor bugs and of course the BROD? I kinda like the design of the K850 while N82 looks too oldschoolish (my opinion). I am also bored of the symbian OS. So can I be optimistic with SE? It will be really sweet if they release a BROD-free,no bugs and FAST firmware. Also, SE has taken K850 off production. Does that mean no further firmwares or support? They better not do it. Not before they clean up the mess I think. Hmmm... |

I never had those "Alarm Volume" settings in any of the previous firmwares --CA037,--EA031-37 and still in the current firmy Alarm Menu is still the same no change at all.
Are you talking about Alarm Signal?
Yes I think it is. At least I were able to change the volume of it previously, and now I can't. It's insanely quiet - Not really useful as an Alarm to wake up on  |

Something I really miss in SE firmwares is better customization of profiles. I.e. different ring tones/sms tones or vibrate settings depending on profile.
Also, why is it impossible to set a contact-specific sms-tone just like the ring tone?
Does anyone know if any custom firmwares include these or SE have any plans on this? |
