Like I said above, it could be used for presentations for business people. So it probably would be just in smart phones.

I hope that comment was a joke.
So we have now established that despite this phone neing hailed as the giant killer of 2008 there are still so many bad points.
1) has crap touch sensitive keys, whats the matter with you SE?
2) camera is way off and I reckon it will hit retail like this too. When is the last time SE put ANY camera phone out on the market in a decent state. Even the 902 is being outperformed by the 6220 classic.
3) GPS is crap
@bavlondon2, yes, pretty disappoint.
PK? some comments ?

@projector
i see the advantage more in opening word documents, show snapshots to friends - but i really doubt that the contrast and battery life would really justify a projectpr |

I wouldn't count on Monday cause If we have bad luck the announcement could be taking place in early June and I think everyone should take a break from paris. |

Monday seems way too early. The 19th is not the "end of May."
Me? I'm looking into alternatives. I've already been thinking about the HTC Diamond, but there are things about that phone that irk me. Maybe the 2009 Nokia touchscreen flagship....hmmmm... |

the last two weeks i have been watching what everybody is saying here... and to be honest with you... everybody got a point. i have been patient since the w960i came out to see whats going to be my next phone. so far nothing slowly slowly sony ericsson is pushing me away from their phones. i almost purchased the Japan SO905i from ebay unlocked but then i said let me wait maybe sony will come up with somthing better.
but nothing so far. P5 (paris) not impressed at all it looks like my w960i except its a slider phone.
Eyes-on with ASUS ZX1 Lamborghini phone thats what i am going to buy unless sony ericsson changes my mind. Let see ..... |

Go for the HTC Raphael after it's released. It should be a great device.

I just wish they would get a move on with these announcements. I actually dreamt in my sleep that there was an announcement last night and a red phone appeared. How weird/sad is that? I really should be dreaming of more exciting things than phone announcements.
The P1 was announced on May 8th 2007 so we're long overdue for some of the good stuff.

If it does indeed have that old processor, I can't see how it can have 850.

The battery and the lack of SD expansion are my main problems. Also, the fact it's a mainstream device and everyone and their brother is going to have one.
I'll still hold out for the announcement, but if I have to wait another year for, say, that 2009 Nokia touch flagship, so be it.
