I hope  concetrate more on picture quality rather than higher numbers, I'll be happy with any thing 7.0 and above for this high-end imagine if it has superiour image quality, but if will make it 8 at the expense of image quality, I wont need it...

But we all know that megapixel numbers is just marketing and has little to do with quality. I can live just 5mp but atleast N82 quality. |

Cross platform could also refer to Google's Android. Google has mentioned that they want to get the OS on as many platforms as possible, and from SEs standpoint it would make perfect sense to leverage open source to get people to buy more of their hardware. |

Sony has proven with their Cyber-shot cameras that an 8MP or even 10MP camera can be slim. Sony Ericsson should be able to make a decent sized phone then too. I wouldn't expect anything smaller than the K850i though. And remember its rumoured to resemble the Viewty, but have a slider form factor. Sounds cool to me!

c902 is 10mm thin...... and its 5mp......
so adding 3mp wont take up too much more space. id say it would be between 15-17mm.
that 8mp samsung module we saw not long ago was quite small for example...... so, wont be 20mm or something like that

So now that this Paris baloon has burst is this the new rumor to get everyone excited about? Is this the phone that will make 2008 SE's!!!! Please man you lot need to stop doing this.
Well thats not really a surprise as its using that same old Nexperia chip so sound quality isnt going to be any different to other phones that have used that chip: ie- p1, p990, w960 ect... The other phones mentioned all either run on TI2420 which has a DSP built in or have an actual seperate DSP.

Guys why is the expectation always so high. It was the same with even the K800 and the K850.
Have the last 2 years taught you nothing about SE? For god sake even LG have sold more phones than SE. SE is going downhill and they dont give a toss. Some of you guys are of your nut.

Please tell me are not trying to compare football and Man Utd with the state of SEs position in the market? lol Man Utd have still been the richest English club even when they were not winning the league in the last few years. I dont think SE can relate to that as I pointed out even LG have sold more handsets last year than them and Samsung have leapfrogged them into 2nd. That in football terms would be like Man Utd not qualifying for Europe altogether. lol
I thought Moto were bad for bringing out new versions of the Razr but this Paris take the cake. Its just another P990.

my point is teams, companies etc etc go through bad patches, always. We know has the potential, so does every other manufacturer. we've seen it from before (but not too often now) some bad decision making going on there i guess
and me saying this doesnt mean im totally satasfied with it doesnt bother me since i dont need feature packed phones, but if i did, its really not that hard to buy from another manufacturer rather than people complaining (complaining and discussing are 2 different things) which will achieve nothing.
edit: o bav, dont know what the money/market position has to do with it, i wasnt referring to that at all. was talking about 'form'/performance.
