more touch screens, anyone?
Ar you talking about this news?
Sony develops new Multi-Touch LCD Touchscreen
Sony announced a new LCD touchscreen supporting multi-touch.
with the success of the Apple iPhone, no electronics company can bring out new portable devices without touch screen interface. The new touch screens have to support of course multi-touch.
The new Sony LCD touchscreen uses a low-temperature polysilicon thin film transistor TFT process technology based on optical sensor arrays.
The current prototype display is 3.5 inch in size and has a resolution of 640 x RGB x 480 pixels. The optical touch sensor array supports up to 5 points. Finger and stylus input is supported.
Via this Sony press-release (Japanese).

z660 photoshop assumption picture missed out one thing.
camera for video call...because the initial picture is showing 3G on the sub display.
well one comment for SE clam shell phone...they seem to refusing a color external sub display....regardless how big the size....it just seem all their new device don't come with one after Z520. |

i think they do this to make the users have more compatibility to use themes between different phones |

Oh no RAZRish keypad design is not a good step for SE and i seriously dislike it. Z750 looks even more of a worthy successor for Z610 than this |

That could be true. And I'm not denying it. But I had a Z520i and I thought the external screen just took the wallpaper picture and text colours from what you'd see on the internal screen...

See, what we have with Z660:
a) Z660 - is successor of Z550. Look at this picture:
Design is similar. And names are also similar: Z550 - "55", Z660 - "66".
b) Z660 - clamshell version of K660. Successor of Z610.
K610 - Z610
K660 - Z660 |
