Just received Android 10.
Initially I had no networks at all and had to restart the phone. All working fine now.

Will have it soon! 540 Euro, 2 weeks, like new.

Got mine yesterday, the blue colour is really nice.
Took a bit of work to get my old Sony SW2 to work with it, as when you upgrade to Andeoid 10 the playstore wont show apps that are optimised for android 10.
I have downloaded all the apks I need so wont have the same issue next time.

@Cableguy
Do you know where I can download the Swype APK safely? Alot of the websites look dodgy and I hate this Gboard.

Hope you get your money back! Anyway xperia 5 display is also damn flabbergasting! And you will love to keep holding to it! The grip is sort of fun! Remember to buy tempered glass and casing and apply straight away!

Use MyPhoneExplorer (app + windows program)
There's a option to backup your call log and SMS.
To restore, just install the same app on your new device then restore.
You'll need to turn on USB debug and drivers installed.
You can connect using wifi or USB cable. (which I prefer)

So there is no Sony solution? What about Xperia companion?

Think you backup to your Google account? Think it has (or I'm wrong ?) |

You can't do it anymore (using Xperia Companion).
The new Xperia's don't have the Backup & Restore options under settings.
I tested using MyPhoneExplorer and it worked well. It's a nice tool that works with any Android phone.
With Google Backup you can do it too but it saves almost everything. (with MyPhoneExplorer you can choose what to save)

MyPhoneExplorer has been around forever. Fantastic that it works with Xperias. I remember using it with my K700 |
