This season is good because Ferrari and McLaren are crap. So far there have been many good performances from different drivers. It makes the season unpredictable and interesting. I'm a big fan of Vettel, if all the drivers had the same car I think he would be very near or at the top.
I'm also very impressed by the 'smaller teams' and the step up made by the like of BMW. With a tight budget now, teams have to be smarter with their money which is where Ferrari and McLaren are struggling. Now we will see who is the smartest team with the best engineers and I predict a new constructors champion. |

You're right. BBC News just reported that this was a "Ferrari-led protest".

1) Vettel
2)Webber
3)Button
Good performance for the Red Bull team, in very bad conditions.

THIS IS BEYOND BELIEF. Ferrari still got no points. British car or driver on all steps of the podium again. What A magic year for f1. Yet another car winning out of the blue. Best year in f1 ever i think. Anyones championship still. |

Dietrich Mateschitz (spelling?) is Austrian, yes, but RBR is made of Stuart GP and Jaguar F1 DNA. Most of the engineers are from those times, therefore, the team is British.

Nope, RBR is Austrian... http://www.fia.com/en-GB/medi[....]ica/2009/Pages/ica_140409.aspx

Okay, so they've an Austrian license, but Christian Horner is British, the engineers are British, they are based in Britain, the team is of British heritage. So... what's Austrian. The owner and a piece of paper.
Technically, they are Austrian, but in spirit, they are British.

It's frankly embarressing for the sport of F1 when Jenson Button can be leading the championship.
I'm a former Honda Service technian and a big fan of anything Honda and followed thier F1 team closely and the level of frustration involved with supporting Button as a driver was intense.
Schumacher used to make mince-meat out of him on a regular basis and it wasn't just because he was driving a Ferrari. And the mess Button made out of switching to Williams and then back again was rediculous.
F1 is farcical this year with Ferrari nowhere and the Defending Champ and all the previous front runners struggling...
