I finally was able to set up Cingular's photo messaging on my GD87. I can't believe these idiots won't launch MMS anytime soon and are so behind in launching new handsets. I would understand if were behind T-mobile but being behind AT&T??? That's just pathetic... damn Cingular.

yes we are... AT&T has launched a few Nokias before we have and when we did, those phones were already obsolete... that's why 2 weeks after we launched the 6590, it was discountinued. And how come they will launch MMS before we do? T-mobile already has it... Were the last of the 3 GSM carriers to do it.....

if you think we're behind for reasons including 'nokias' i dont know what to say. we got some ericssons before they did. also, about the 8390's and 6590's, i do believe it's a marketing strategy. cingular wants them selling before acquiring the stuffs. atleast, we didnt lose alot of money giving away those nokias. cingular learned their lessons from SIE. S40s. if you're in the same market as i am, u know we got 20,000 units of s40 which is sad ...

Hey everyone,
Wow, it seems nice to be able to talk to people from familar places. I actually have T-Mobile and live in Covina, Ca. Everyone kinda intimidates me because I am totally lost, but I hope someone can help me.
I actually bought a T68M off of ebay. It is unlocked because I am able to make calls but a few days ago I added T-Zones to my account but have gotten nowhere. I have talked to customer service for hours the past few days but they just keep walking me through setting up a data account. I know how to do that but when I go to WAP settings I can only select Cingular home, Cingular roam, or Express. I do not get T-Zones anywhere.
Now from what I have been reading is that Cingular has some sort of lock in the WAP settings and the only way to get rid of it is upgrading it? Or is it changing the software?
It sounds like there are places to get this done. Is there anywhere local like in southern california? And how much does this cost? Sorry to bother everyone by asking questions that have been answered time and time again, but I just want to get everything clear.
Thanks in advnce,
Jess
