So basically this software just took the worse part of 037: Brod and also add it this multi-random reboots?

S.E., shame on you!

BTW, I just got a black/green K850! I just missed so much my previous K850 functionalities that I sold my iphone and got a new one.

This one is using R1EA031, no random reboots, no hanging.

Do you guys really recommend the newer firmware?

For this case, because it's a K850i, I recommend:

"If it ain't broke, don't update it!"

There's a reason why this thread is soooo long, more grouses after every new update!

My W890i works ok so far, even though it's also on A200 platform (again, will never update it!), but my friend's new C902 is doing random reboots and random blue strip lights being ON for long periods. Could the next phase of A200 platform be Blue Strip Of Death (BLUSOD)??!!

On R1EA031 i had 1-2 reboots everyday ! After my update to R1FA035 I got 1 (ONE) reboot just after I had updated. After that no reboots at all.
So for me this latest FW is a blessing.

BROD overnight on R1FA035 - not remotely happy, promised me I'd NEVER use SEUS again after last time which also BROD'd me... Assumed they'd couldn't screw up again - how dumb of me!

And no alarm made me late for work...

Trying to reflash now on DaVinci but can't find the customized UK R1CA037 I had previously - the other fw's I've had have got BROD within a week...

Whats the best fw to use? Will the customized R1FA035 on DV be any different to the SEUS one..

do you guys think R1F would be the final firmware for k850?...
we have almost 600 pages of replies for this thread....that means we're not satisfied with this firmware.....
the k800 had 300 pages...and its firmware has been updated so many times.....up to r8....hope se willl bring out a stable firmware for k850...cause i still find it slow...esp when i'm going into call logs and shifting right to dialed calls etc.....i'm on R1EA037 btw.

I've been owning the phone for 7 months and I update through SEUS every time and now with the latest 035. So far The newest fw works best and after 3 weeks only 1 reboot a day after update and all I notice is it's much more stable. I'm not always multitasking but overall this phone doesn't disappoint me... seriously

guys, What's better to upgrade my firmware to the new 037 or the R1FA035?

same question. My bro just got a k850i. He wants to debrand it to a newer firmware. The interface is sooo slow at times!

Also, is the dev team (XS++) the only ones working on the ability of adding flash menu themes to the k850i's?

Absolutely YES! is my vote R1EA031 gave me 2 BRODs and plenty of reboots before I went back to R1CA037 and stayed there until the newest one. I've had R1FA035 for over a month now and indeed it does have an occasional reboot, but they are few and far in between. Most importantly - No BROD for me! I think that statistically speaking this firmware has given significantly less BRODs than either of the past 2.
