If it really uses the old hardware, I don't see the point why PK was so excited about it's hardware abilities? According to him, the proto was replaced somewhere in november 2007 because they were changing some stuff in it. |

Maybe they just added gps, better camera or the screen? |

Possibly, but if it uses "old" hardware, it may have the old screen also...
 Unofficial SonyEricssonClub.plT10 -> T65 -> T310 -> T610 -> T630 -> K700 -> P910 -> P990 -> P1i -> Xperia X1 + C702 -> Xperia X10 mini + Xperia X10!!! What can I say... I'm  maniac!! |

According to m-one, on SE-world.info, it will be running the same Qualcomm internals used by the X1. And he said this some time last month too. |

C'mon, old hardware would be just stupid.
No way to have a strong competitor with 208mHz right?? |

m-one said the first proto had a OMAP 2420 @ 330 MHz but later the processor and screen was changed. |

of course...anyone thinking the P5 will use the same old 208mhz processor of older UIQ3 phones is just nuts...
remember also...SE will share hardware between UIQ and WM devices, i said this before...and that is what m-one is refering too...

heh, all I know is, 500 + MHz sounds pretty fast to me
And I will take that as proof of processing speed ares |

I think Symbian doesn't support Qualcomm. IMHO the OMAP used in N95 is just enough for UIQ3.3 unless you want SVGA 60fps video recording. |

I know it would be mad... But you know... Sometimes SE has strange ideas though I really hope you are right!

You can be sure
Like m-one says in his forum, first protos were awith TI OMAP 2420 with 330 MHz
Then, they started using Qualcomm chips...and the clock speed is superior to 500mhz - go back and see my old posts about this Just checked, and this is also what m-one is talking about now
Although, we canīt be sure untill seeing the final official specs However, one thing is for sure, like i said before, is not the olī208mhz one

World record is 15 minutes under the water, with ultra-training and oxygen inhaling just before. |

David Blaine has beaten the world record holding his breath for 17mins and 04 secs Of course by inhaling pure oxygen.
What we can be really sure of is that Paris won't use the old Nexperia chipset.
The info about a device using a Qualcomm processor @ 528MHz could also
mislead us to think that it'll be used in Paris instead of the then unknown Xperia X1.
At that time noone had the smallest clue about the X1 and the manufacturer behind this project - HTC.
HTC is known to use Qualcomm chipsets in its devices.
It is possible that SE is pursuing a purchasing strategy to raise the amount of chipsets needed to achive a better price coupling two different projects. But HTC is an ODM that produces foreign products for foreign brands as well as their own products. Where is the catch?
- HTC gets paid for every unit that is produced so purchasing the components is being left to the ODM (Original Design Manufacturer).
