I think that pine trees are a good test for fine detail.. especially against the sky where the camera has to separate little tiny needles against a blue background.

Not bad at all.. I don't think that any other phone can do this

Here is true detail and power by 808

The stock 808 camera app not is best for maximum quality. I use Camera mod or ClearView(TM) technology No way compare 808 with other cameraphones , compare with hi-end compacts and mirrorless camera.

naked 808? my religion doesn't allow me to carry like that

no, seriously, I can't see my 808 with a little scuff or even a hair line in the plastic on the camera.

Sassho:
Yup. exactly my thoughts, not for the camera, I'm getting the Z1f (mini) for the size and the specs. Well, it was that or an iPhone 5s, but I guess you guys will stop talking to me if I get a 5S

Mine has been in a case just a few times, and so far the only thing that is showing signs of ware and tare is the bottom part of the camera hump.. you know, just like the N8.. when you lay it on its back and that's where it touches the surface.

Other than that.. no worries

. Well, it was that or an iPhone 5s, but I guess you guys will stop talking to me if I get a 5S

I tested it for you.. got an iPhone 5 and people still talk to me

Stay away from that malware of an OS called android.. get yourself an iPhone 5s, its a solid phone and iOS 7 is much closer to Symbian now in terms of functionality

Thanks for the advise, seriously i've been looking for a daily driver to replace my 808 (and just keep my 808 for photos)

Cant seem to find something worthy, and yes, i share the same thoughts on Android: is a freaking virus dressed as an OS.

The 5s is nice.. if you can find it for a good price. The 5C is not bad either.. it just has a shitty camera

It took them 6 years but they finally made a phone I might consider or even recommend.. its kind of hard to believe.

But ya, I would stay away from android.

If you want Nokia hardware, you might have to wait for something decent to come out. The 1020 is too much of a compromise, the 1520 is too big..

Let's hope Microsoft picks up the pace a little bit next year.

Also, WP is nice, but.. its still at version 1.0 so its nowhere near where it should be if you want something feature rich like the more mature ones. I would wait for at least 2.0

Sorry but what a load of crap this is. 1) calling android "a malware of an OS" makes you look very ignorant and 2) IOS7 is no closer to symbian than ios6 was
