Just Like There's Two And Half Years Ago, NSeries N8 Crushed Competition (Satio, Pixon 12, Innov8, C905 And Digital Camera Sony UZ) Even In A Blind Test, 808 PureView Now It All Against The Top Cellular Line 2012 And A Digital Camera Micro Four Thirds !!!

Simply Sensational... Unmatched !

A More Unquestionable Proof That Matter In Image Quality And Video, Nokia Is Light Years Ahead Of All Phones Manufacturers Of The Planet !!!

P.S: Why It More Than Ever, When The Subject Is Photography And Videos...

The Greater Truth Of The World Mobile Is Nokia 808 PureView (__Abyss__) All Other Mobile Planet With Integrated Digital Camera !

Bonovox ...

Despite The Breakthrough Of The HTC Regarding The Image Quality, Unfortunately They Are Very Far From Equaling If Nokia, Samsung And Apple !!!

The HTC ONE X Have A Good Camera, But Much Lower Quality At N8, Galaxy S III And S IPhone 4S !!!

Have When Comparison Is Made With 808 PureView... He Is Infinitely Less !!!

Something Like A Difference Between Porsche Cayenne S 2012 And Volkswagen Fusca 1968 !!!

I actually put a vote in the other day. It turned out to be olympus pen, though pureview did came close, it does not match the detail and colour reproduction of M43.

Still, it is impressive for a mobile.

Yuunanase...

If I May Respectfully Disagree With You I Will !

In My Humble Opinion The 808 PureView Was Superior But The Olympus Camera Micro Four Thirds, Although It Was Higher By a Small Margin !

However, For a Cell Phone, This Is An Achievement And Shows How It's Revolutionary !!!

My Dear Shino03...

The Sony Xperia S Was Not Included In (Blind Test) For Two Factors Account !

The First And Most Important, Despite Having a "GOOD" Photo Quality Smartphone Sony's Top Line No Account With A Digital Camera That Figure Not Even Integrated Among The Top 5 Market !!!

The Same, Is Very Under NSeries N8, Galaxy S III, IPhone 4S, Galaxy Note, HTC One X, Galaxy S II And Xperia P, What Is A Factor And Either Not Qualify For Him For Dispute !!!

The Second Reason Is That It Has Received Few Votes (Active Members Of The GSMARENA), For That Took Part Of Quarrel !!!

These Two Factors Therefore Added To Poor Performance In Sales Xperia S Placed The Dispute Outside This !

P.S: Justice Be Done... Since July 2009 (Release From Excellent CyberShot C901) None Sony Ericsson / Sony Draws Attention When The Subject Is Photo And Video !

Several Are Released From There To Here With Poor Photo Quality !!!

A Pen That Is Really Over 3 Years Sony Lance Nothing That Will Not Worth The investment, When The Subject Is Photo Quality On A Cell !!!

Joint Optical Plastic, Post Processing Ridiculous And Total Lack Of Integration Of a Xenon Flash, Sony Smartphones Of Today Make A Joke When The Subject Is Image Quality And Video !!!

After looking at several reviews about this nokia flagship camera phone I learned two things:
with Pureview ON
808's image quality is awesome, lowlight probably surpasses 1/1.7" cameras at anything below ISO800
with Full Resolution
808's image quality is decent with lots of details at well illuminated objects, but for anything concerning low-light, it's laughable

besides I wouldn't call the Blind Test a Blind Test, since it's pretty much obvious which one is which. and it's very easy for Nokia fans at GSMArena to detect which ones were taken by 808 and N8 since they use the same image processing, same thing goes for SGSIII and iPhone 4s since they use the same sensor so the DNA in their sample pictures is unlikely different. HTC is infamous for their poor post processing so I'll find it ridiculous if people would fail to guess which one comes from it. and there's the M43 Olympus samples which I'm pretty sure are never difficult to guess.

I beg to disagree. To some extent, if sales would be the basis, the Xperia S deserves to be on the shoot-out instead of the HTC one X.

Rasec...

The 808 PureView Is Superior To Any Digital Camera Compact Size Sensor Independent Integrated With These Cameras !

Canon PowerShot G12 (1/1.7") Cano Powershot S100 (1/1.7"), Ricoh GR Digital IV (1/1.7"), Nikon Coolpix P7100 (1/1.7"), Panasonic DMC-LX5 (1/1.63"), Olympus XZ-1(1/1.63"), Fujifilm FinePix X-10 (2/3") And Sony RX100 (1") Regardless Of Which One, All Are No Exception Bottom Of The King Cameraphones !

I enjoyed your trolling my friend RX100 has larger pixels (read: better sensitivity) and larger sensor size than the 808 PureView just in case you don't understand how large the sensor of that Sony camera have. and besides we can pit 808 in Pureview Mode to an RX100 20MP sample downscaled to 8mp and find the latter still winning. RX100 had larger aperture, larger sensor which results to better DoF (better Bokeh), better ISO sensitivity at full resolution) and proper zoom lens and image sensor.

okay let me give you some enlightenment

BTW Nikon's CX sensor and the 1" Exmor sensor from Sony are the same type, it's Sony who produced the sensor afterall

EDIT: I forgot to add this, but the section where you posted this as well as the 808 vs DSLR thread clearly indicates that you are trolling Samsung and Sony users.
