I was at this guys place yesturday and he had this spider in his back yard. it was made by a laser-cutter in 10mm steel plate and welded together. The square its standing on is about 1.5 meters in square and the spider is about 80cm high and weight is about 200kg. Cool.

this is me paying 20 euros (i guess like US$25) for half a kilo of meat:
and this is what i made with it:
it was the best filet i ever made.
i burned my cooking pot (had to roast the meat first, then put it in the oven. the oil got burned while roasting the meat, then got baked-into the pot during the next 30 minutes in the oven).
2 days of panic later i managed to get rid of it. that would have been a very expensive dinner if the pot had died.

I made the exact same one about a year ago but now two of the legs broke
Edit: Dude what are you talking about? That's just a wood-model spider... It's about 20cm!!
