motorolas are not, as said, ugly phone and terrible ui. And think about it this way, all 5mpz camphones on market have a brand to them, SE=cybershot nokia=carl zeius lg etc.
Motorola nothing, usually have terrible cams, in my opinoin, stay away |

Well since this is the k850i overview thread for the things fixed or not fixed, then hmmm, the poor camera quality was one of the things messed up for a long while. So I would think that this would be the right thread for it. There arent many pictures throughout 569 pages, so a few arent going to kill anyone, and if your on dial up then maybe you shouldve spent money on a high speed internet connection rather then an expensive phone, lmao. No offense but there arent that many pictures in this thread for it to be a "bandwidth hog".Just my thoughts.

First off, I find you to be quite annoying, as I do have a T1 connection, so I don't really worry about bandwidth. What I'm saying is that I don't appreciate seeing so many pictures in a FW thread. Yes, I understand that this is about the FW, but if you look in the pics thread, you'll notice that a similar conversation is happening over there, and it's quite annoying to see it put into two threads.
Basically, the way I put it is that if I walk into a Yamaha Motorcycle Dealership, I don't want to have people asking me if I want to purchase Yamaha Electric keyboards or musical equipment, just because it has to do with Yamaha. That's how I feel here. I want to discuss (or at least be advised) on the FW.
There is an entirely different thread discussing photos, and I believe that is where the photos should stay. Granted, I don't quite understand how the FW fixes the photo taking, because I honestly would think that that's the camera driver, but it seems that all the pictures should stay in the pictures thread.
And to Theos, that's not my point. I don't want to have to find workarounds. But thanks anyways. I've been using a portable version of Opera (in addition to Opera Mini) for quite a while now. However, I prefer FF.

The Cam driver is in the firmware. I find it rather anoying that you try to talk about something you know nothing about! If you wanna buy a yamaha motorcykel, you would also get advised on tires for it.. Tires have nothing to do with the bike itself, right? Its still a motorcykel without tires So pictures do belong in this thread, cause they have something to do with the firmware. |

Hey,
I just bought this phone and am still stuck with R1DA038 and says it's the newest version available. Is there any way i can update this some other way? The battery life is shocking. It's empty pretty much by the end of the day.
Thanks in advance,
Rhys

Poor analogy aside, the point is that there is a thread SPECIFICALLY for posting of said pictures. Camera discussion is fine but endless example pictures of a problem that is already well documented, discussed and agreed on, is overkill.

I really couldnt care in the least what you find 'annoying',pics will continue to be posted in this thread, whether you 'appreciate' it or not, lol. So either deal with it or dont.

Actually, that doesn't work. The motorcycle (that's how you spell it) COMES with tires. You are ONLY advised on tires if you IF YOU ASK ABOUT THEM. They do not come up to me and tell me that while I'm getting a motorcycle, that they have a new tires made out of a better rubber compound that I should upgrade to, in order to ride my motorcycle better, or make it a smoother ride. They only advise on tires if you ASK FOR IT.
Here, I am forced to drudge through the pictures in order to get to the actual information about the FW. I think that Mark187 is the only one who actually got my point. Thank you.
On another note, just upgraded another phone to R1FA035. Information: _GENERIC_SO, ADRIATIC Customization.

So back to discussing the firmware of the k850i. I have yet to have any problems with it, and as someone mentioned before I seem to get better battery life. Not sure if this is because of the r1f firmware or because of upgrades to our 3g network in canada. |
