Well did you tried the automatic search options. It should find your phone if connected to USB cable (phone mode) and if the drivers for it are installed correctly.

Hi guys i hav just started using MPE for the first time but i dont know how to transfer files from pc and viceversa. |

from pc - is V, very easy - start mpe, windows explorer - select the file you
want to transfer to the phone, right click and select "upload to phone" from
the context menu 
from the phone - start mpe, select files from the left side of the main
window, pick phone or card and select the folder, in the right window select
the file and then click the blue down arrow on the toolbar. You'll get a
"save as" window so your can pick your location :-]

tried about 10 times mate its just not having it hhmm, done a restart tried it this morning left it tried again maybe its just not for me lol

check out your contacts and make sure that there isnt a corrupt contact.

@Trev1982: The problem is known, it happens only for a few users and i have currently no perfect solution to fix it.
- restart you phone (take out the accu for 2 minutes)
- if it does not help: delete the profile in MyPhoneExplorer (don't forget to export the SMS-Archive)
- if it does not help: try it on another PC
As i said - there is currently no fix for it cause i don't know why this error appears on some PCs. If you can make it work, then please post the solution here so i can fix maybe the problem.
