wow! this thread has been dead for like 2 days already...

Nothing has been leaked for a while and a thread can only go so long with just speculation. It appears in 4 weeks SE will show its cards, so just wait it T.T

PS, is Shiho the upgrade to the K850i?

It supposedly is and is rumoured to have a small upgrade to the A2 platform.

Yeh it will have A250 rather than the current A200

And its also rumored to use Sony Exmor technology in its cam right?

I never heard of that, but if it's better without going for expensive ( same price as K850 will be fine ), then should and must go for it in order to regain it's Cyber-Shot leading reputation & make un-satisfied users regain thier satisfaction and loyality to

The k850 was such a flop. Shiho has a lot of making up to do.

Any of the rumor Gods know anything about a European version of the W61s?

That screen and camera (with the Exmor chip and the optical zoom) are both miles ahead of anything SE has or - as far as I've read here - plans to introduce in Europe this year.

And, by the way... the W61s specs look amazing on paper, but has anyone found any real life tests yet?

European W61? I dont think there is any planned release of a European version of the W61. Exmor technology will supposeduly be used in Shiho though. Someone on here said so.

another info of upcoming se fones

Dozens of new Sony Ericsson handsets coming

"An interesting compilation has been revealed, that contains all phones from Sony Ericsson they are planning to launch this year. Besides names and pictures we have release dates on the list too. The first part of the list includes the expected release date of handsets already announced. Based on this, almost every previously announced phone is expected to become available by July, except Xperia X1 and the R300 radio, for which we have to wait until September. Unfortunately there are no specs attached to the list regarding unannounced phones, we only the segment at which the phones are targeted at (low-, mid-, high-end). After reading through the list we might observe names like "Paris" and "Beibei" about which we have been reporting on several times. Besides these we have three other high-end phones, codenamed "Ying", "An" and "Shiho"."

Understandable, but I highly doubt that site will ever post stories about SE rumours before it's posted here, so I guess I'd just not post anything then.

Now now, Mizzle, it's not like he killed someone. In cases like these it is sufficient to just say "Thanks anyway, Boba. "

I would just like to inform everybody that I was the person who made that pic. I took page from SE world and photo shopped the english words there. I know it is my pic because I photomerged 3 screenshots together and if you look at the vertical line on the left, you will see two breaks. That is where the pictures got put together.

I'll have to agree. I'm one of the LUCKY ones that, even with provider branding firmware, my K850i is EXTREMELY solid! I've even dropped it this winter on concrete and its STILL solid in firmware and hardware - only a slight creak when I press on either side of the battery door. My old W810i which I also loved, had to part due to heavy gaming the D-Pad creaked like a haunted house.

@Razec, thanks for the clarification and I'll agree a video chipset is best for ALL future Cybershot phones, and I'd prefer updated dual-core ARM 11 cpu's in ALL future SE phones UIQ or A200 or future platform phones.

Btw, Mizzle and crew ... how come we're not getting any info of the chosen hardware (besides deduced thinking for OMAP 3230 cpus') to help the benefit of new features and specs? Sorry just curious of the porridge pot is sweater than meets the eye .

Common SE "set you free" (Dr. Kucho).
