By the time my 902 breaks I hope SE will have released a GSM version of the SO905iCs, their new 5.1 MP CCD-based, 3x optical zoom, Xenon flash Cyber-shot thingy! If not then a pocket-sized P&S will have to do. And it will not be a Sony out of frustration for SE not releasing their goodies to us outside Japan!

eeehhhhh...k850 take VERY good low light/night pictures..(probably one of the best cell phone for night pics).....i-mobile 902 takes often little better night pics, (i repeat, often little better)...like i said before...ive seen night pics from i-mobile who dosent looks so sharp, and there k850 had done a better job...no doubt about that.
ps...im not saying i-mobile902 take bad pictures.....(its one of the best camera cell phones you can get...)

he he he...whatever...show me night pictures FROM YOUR OWN I-MOBILE.902 who have the same sharpness like this night picture
(who i posted myself...and who i realy think is done in photo shop)............then im convinced.....untill then...it is like it is ...
i think i-mobile is quite sensitive....sometimes you get awesome night pics, and sometimes you get medium quality...
edit @DarKMaGiCiaN... thats what im talking about .

The photo is reduced in size. That's why it is so sharp. It will of course not look so sharp at full 5 MP size. That's something you on one hand seem very familiar with considering that you until now have refused to post full size unadulterated versions of your photos and just showing off your 800x600 scaled down things, and on the other hand do not understand when looking at other people's photos from other camera phones?!
BTW, how come all your photos are 778x584? Do you scale them down in your PC?

The blog I linked above said CCD. Oh well... just one more disappointment from Sony Ericsson

is this Night pics ok.........(its nearly impossible to take pictures when its full darkness....you need a good light source....or a real good camera for that..(the sensor is to small in cell phones for that kind of job).

Straight from the cam. Got this thing last night. Adjusting to it, can't wait for next firmware.... other than the lagging in some menus and especially the time it takes to populate the media lists using a 4gig microsd card. Other than those hopefully fixed issues with next firmware, this is a bad ass phone. Even with the issues currently, I don't regret the cash I dropped on this thing.

You can find an example here in the i-mobile 902 photos thread. Feel free also to look at the original and you'll notice the absence of noise in that night shot.
BTW, why are all your photos 778x584? (That's less than 10 percent of 5 MP.) Is that the size produced by BestPic or have you downsized them in your PC?
