Just had a BROD on Wednesday, just as the new firmware makes its appearance.
Off to Vodafone repairs, and they have reported the problem as follows:-
A fully qualified technician diagnosed the fault on your phone - it was caused by corrupt/faulty software. To correct this problem, a software upgrade was carried out on your phone. As this corruption can be imported via ring tone or other downloads, SMS/MMS and other internet use it may not have been possible to save your stored data and settings because the software upgrade would override them.
As I'm on Vodafone I hope the upgraded software is the new software!
If so, it means Vodafone UK are near to approving it for release.
Will let you know when it arrives back. |

C902 doesn't have a ring around the camera, but a line across the back of the phone (look for a picture of C902's back cover), therefore the name BLOD (Blue Line Of Death). It's the same FW bug as K850i's BROD, adapted to the physical appearance of the C902.
No HONG-KONG FW version out yet, still the same message on SEUS ("Update not available - Return to start"). |

No the K850 doesn't have BLOOD but BROD!
Cool this FW seems to be clean and without virus...

BTW, a guy on another forum got a BLOD (Blue Line of Death) on his c902, but managed to fix it with by leaving the battery out for a day

believe me that if I got another BROD with my good old K850, there would be a lot of BLOOD on it

No news for HONG-KONG either... I am already tired of turning off, removing the battery, inserting the battery, pressing C, connecting cable, releasing C, getting angry at "No update available" message, starting the phone again.
An this goes on several times a day, because the stupid SEUS can't check for a new FW version without the phone being connected. |

If its not one thing its another with SE now that the firmware is out some could get it and some cant, Last update every body had in almost the same day whats the keep back,and they are so impolite if something is wrong with the servers say something dont just have people expecting nothing ..STEUPPPPS |
