Interesting to note in the list of codenames above that there is both a 'Bella OLD' and a 'Bella'. Is this possibly one of the names of the prototypes that PK had that had to be returned to go through a hw redesign?

That's a weird screen size? I assume it's so you can ruin your eye's wathing telly on it? Makes the phone look very long. |

@WhiteEye
Thanks, I was just reviewing that previously. So there is a SO906i and SO906iμ? (A little birdie told me one was a Candybar, although I'm not sure if they meant slider.)

Most Japanese handsets have screen resolution of 400x320 (WQVGA) or 800x480 (WVGA) on some high-end ones. They're all 16:9.
SO906i will possibly come in Cosmic Black, Starlight Blue, Aurora Red and Mirage Pink.
closer look:

You're right. SO906iμ is a FOMA STICK keitai so it will have candybar form factor. It's below SO906i specs-wise (3.2MP CMOS camera, no bluetooth, WQVGA display). Some websites say it may come as SO706i

Thank's white eye. They look like run of the mill phones bar the screen size, I assume they have Bravia tech borrowed from the telly's and digital TV tuners? |

Does anyone know when G900 would be out in the market?
Someone on the G900 forum said next month! Play.com have it predicted as June 6th, sounds more like it. A nice new toy for summer!!!! And I'm going on pay as you go as I don't make many phone calls or text these day's LOL, certainly not enough to warrant the £30 a month Orange charge me.
that leaked document from said 26th of May for both G's, but then some reports said that G900 will follow G700 after short time, so we may expect G700 in 26/May and G900 will follow after two weeks

@Xellar
AFAIK Lin is K858c.
Yes, many Japanese phones don't have Bluetooth, including ALL DoCoMo's 905 and 705 line up.
from my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing. |

OK, nothing special then.
I just imagined a C702 without Bluetooth.  |

Outrageous! I don't know how I'd cope without it. (So driving using your mobile is commonplace in Japan?)
