Despite what you have said the G900 is still just a rehashed P1 with a medicore 5mp cam and just a few new settings and meny layout.

??? Hm, with completely different form factor and some different software...
You could easily sum-up every manufacturer's phone, beeing basically just enhanced/simplified version of the other. So why produce 50 models?
So the whole Nseries has no sense, since they're almost identical and just differ in keyboard, the same with whole Wseries ect... Sorry, but it doesn't work that way.
If you look at it in such a general way, basically most of the products are almost the same since 90% of features are identical. |

I know mate but im sick of the way SE have treated customers over the last few years. First delaing phones then taking too long to fix them. They need to wake up and smell the market share which is fast slipping away from them.

We understand what you mean but I think G700 and G900 are necessary and worthy enough, even if they are basically like a P1 only...
G700/G900 are quite compact and being more usable with one hand and without the need for a stylus in most of the cases, are targeted more at the general public... |

Ill reserve slagging it of any more until I see the final version. I just hope they improve the pic quality vastly.

but i want a cell that will whipp n96 , and i belive x1 will not ,except for the screen size and hsupa , correct me if am wrong .. i do hope that p5 will do the trick but i am doubtful right now .. is it to much to ask for a phone to rule them all ? ...
except a lot of things: except a full qwerty keyboard, except a touch screen, except an optical joystick, etc etc... Stop complaining guys!
I'm sure X1 will be a very good phone.

im not complaining , but why give 3.2mpixel istead of 5? why not give it more internal memory like n95 8gb? .. why does SE have a hard time to incorperate the best of the best into one phone that they can call flagship. i belaive there are does how will buy that phone , i am one of them , i have a hard time with there philosify (spelling?) " we have this ultra camera module , lets incorparate this into a cell and call it C-something , ouuw we got lots of memory and a kickass cool youth features , lets call it a walkman , yes we got lots and lots of strict profesisonal people , they demand qwerty and hsupa and big screens lets give it to them .. im am still waiting for that chairman or "the man in charge" to have the bright idea to realize that people dont want to carry around 3 sets of phones just to have the all top features , perhaps they want all does features in one phone ?!? ..
i mean there must be atleast some young blogging adventure craving (c-series) employed buisness people (p-series) with good taste of music and entertainment (walkman) here in the world ? so im not complaining at all, im merly wondering why the do not incorparate it all into one , is it impossible ? , not enough battery capacity ? , production costs? size? ,
i really hope that someday there will be such phone from SE , until that day im have to compromize with the p5
I really think all this talk of X1 not being a "true" flagship is nonsense. How do we know that one of those panels won't be a walkman panel. As far as the camera goes, I will trade a couple of megapixels for a QWERTY keyboard and touch screen any day. I, and I dare say most people, will email, edit documents, and text message, far more than they will take pictures they care about with their phone. Besides any point and shoot camera will do a better job than the N95/96, without a zoom and that tiny sensor.
If someone handed you an N95 or N96 and the X1 and said you can only have one, which would you choose? On top of all that, the X1 is significantly thinner than the N95/N96 and has a much better screen resolution. For me its a no brainer, I'll only list the cons as both phones have too many pros:
cons:
N95/96-no touch screen, no keyboard, very thick
X1-"only" 3.2 megapixel camera
As far as onboard storage goes, I can pop an 8GB, soon to be 16 or 32, microSD card into the X1 and carry whatever I want, not to mention I can carry more than one card and swap in and out whatever I need. Can you do that on an N95?
If you would critique the N95/N96 with the same sword as you use for the X1 you would see that it, in most ways, easily surpasses them. |

Right, quite similar...

Agree, in fact my own complaint was just about lack of UiQflagship or other words - doubts about Paris market destination, but now I wait for the facts. Definately stay with UiQ.
Regarding X1, it also has a great processor. |

and WHY should you trade anything ? Technology is there, people who would pay for that tech are there ( here ) too ... what, because SE wants to play cheap and sell us recycled crap over and over ?
No, thank you ... i can always buy Motorola for that ! Seriously, all this about SE is looking very simmilar to Motorola's behaviour some time ago...nuff said 1 |

Dont be fooled by megapixels. Megapixels dont make good cameras,If you want a top class camera, then i suggest you go buy one.I'd rather pick an X1 than an N95

the point is not in megapixels, it is more in wanting something that is not last-year tech ... given X1's high-end position, I expect that every component should be high-end also. Mediocre parts will just spoil the experience, so i would prefer a X1 with no camera at all over X1 with camera that is there just for the sake of it.
Don't know if I am making myself clear... |
