Well, seus till yesterday (when I have a functional cell phone) says no update, its funny cause I have 031, maybe there are some people with bricked 031, that could update to 037 from seus, to see what happen.
I hope someone start a web like k850brod.com or something like that...cause seems like sony lives in his happy world and dont admit the problem...
I loss all my data, all my contacts, all my messagges....even the nokia 1100 cares about my data...

This firmware is on EMMA. I got mine through SETool, not DaVinci or any of the commercial FW resellers. After some testing it might or might not show up non SEUS.
Willl5 > Doubt that your data is salvageable really. Most likely the only fix would be a full flash, not what SEUS offers. I'm sorry it has happened to you, I've gone through 2 BRODs and one of them happened on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Luckily I found a rouge Wifi accesspoint and was able to get to DaVinci and pay for my recover because I didn't feel like driving with no cell phone...

Appears the flash on my second phone is brighter then on the one I am using...lol

For whatever reason the cam driver on the newer firmware seems to be better, be it from a software tweak or whatever.

Wild Child - According to the information you gave, your CDA is 1200-0000 which means its a generated CDA by DaVinci.
To everyone else, upon further research, DO NOT UPDATE using DaVinci. With a bad CDA number like this, you will not be able to update using SEUS later on because it won't recognize the CDA. |

How are you able to determine a DaVinci generated CDA vs a SEUS CDA?! I'd really like to know so I can determine which is which and ALLOW for future SEUS updates.

And only one problem with the cda listing you posted, there are generic versions america out for many phones, in your list there are none. Now this doesnt mean it isnt a legit firmware. What it means is it was/is a leaked version of the latest firmware that made it to the internet. The reason I say this is that this firmware is on EMMA but has not made it to seus, the only thing I saw different was the language packs that were added to this firmware. I have requested confirmation as to what the deal is with this firmware so we shall see. There is no doubt it is generic. from my understanding of how seus reads the phones, its only reads certain parts of the firmware and if the 2 parts match in the firmware you can and will still be able to use seus to update.As I have 2 of these phones we will see which updates via seus and which doesnt when it is "officially" released to the masses. And as soon as I get a response I will post the findings.

Guys, pop down to the general forum and look at the c902 pictures. They are worse than the k850's, if so, alot worse |

Hi..  Last week I've sent an e-mail to SE, asking if we get new features & options, like I saw in C902. And they reply today with an answer. It seems we never gonna see those new things in our K850, because he will never have features from other SE phones.  Seems pretty bad news. Anyway.. I will stay with my K850 until next year, because C905 is a slider -not my taste-, and hoping BROD, crashes, reboots, speed improvement will be fixed very soon, with the release of new f/w.
