Very Svelt indeed, even better than the real thing.
Still no word in Shiho though, it would be nice to see a rendering of that phone.

Well I hope in terms of usability and touch responsivness that they are miles better than the ones used on the K850 and W960 as those were the main things what put me of getting those phones.

I found the touch buttons on my K850i brilliant to use once I got used to them. I think I prefer them to the dimpled kind. They must also save a bit of space.

hgautam, eldar says 6 g series devices, not uiq in general - you cant consider paris here, neither the w960 successor.
I think ares may be a bit wrong, maybe due to the online translator.
There is no definite conclusion that they all will be G-series, especially since appearing in different form-factors.
"Модели Sony Ericsson G700/G900 открывают обновленную линейку UIQ-смартфонов, последующие модели не такие простые, они будут представлены в различных форм-факторах. До конца 2008 года на рынке будет как минимум 6 таких устройств, в 2009 году формирование линейки завершится, и она составит около десятка моделей."
The translation is:
The G700/G900 models open a new line of UIQ smartphones, future models will not be as simple, and they will be presented in various form-factors. Until the end of 2008 there will be at least 6 such devices on the market, in 2009 the line will be complete, and it will include around 10 models.

I would say ares' translation was fair enough.
When Eldar explains that there will be 'six such devices' he is infact refering to the new line of G-series UIQ smartphones and goes on to explain that there will be more sophisticated models in the pipeline.
He doesn't refer to anything else in that translation.

Precisely...just want to make clear those devices Eldar mentions ARE NOT Paris and other high end UIQ devices
Beibei though, could be on that category....

russian is my native, so semo's translation is really accurate. but Eldar does mistakes very often, really. |
