Well hopefully SE just starts putting QuadBand GSM/Triband HSPA in all their mid range to high end phones from now on. Would make it easier for everybody especcially us in the US.
M-One where is the new info? Make it hot. |

When did m-one say he was going to tell us the goods?
He just neatly wrore the info in his diary right next to some romantic poems- right m-one?
Oh yeah-he also has a key and locket on it- so even if you break into his house- nothing gets out...

bueno punto xellar ...
although, id like to say that my K850 is treating me well, id like a superfone but if SE did that then thered be no reason to get one next year ... superfones should be once every 18 months that way they have a reason to refresh, tech that they can implement in a mobile + keep costs down dont change all that much, maybe new manufacturing processes'
REALLY id like wifi similar to the PSP where i can connect to my PS3 (by proxy my PC) with my phone, also as many codecs off the bat as possible. sony is all about INTEGRATION now with their new CEO Stringer, so why should that not apply to their SE brand. I think its possible make it compatible with DLNA WiFi i dont have to be able to play my games but id like the ability to stream + save files from my home network. QuadBand GSM + TriBand HSDPA/HSUPA + GPS (integrated FM, and not attached to the headphones would be sincere) shouldnt be too hard seeing as how the X1 has all of those radios, id like to see it sometime this year, announced before i get my heartset on a lesser model or design (W960 fell apart when they put that bulbous ring around the camera, if they kept it simple with like the G9 they coulda had another sale.)
also id like SE to tell me when they announce the phone(s) what is aimed at the top 1% of the market ... trickle down theory (yes a 2.8"-3" screen with a bright and full color palette would be nice too 16mil)
so many chip manufacturers these days that can handle all these requests yet phone manufacturers wont implement them due to dev costs ... ? if the chipset exists and all you have to do is program for it, is it truely that cost ineffective? |

Could the z780 be the 3g version of the z770?(including video call cam)??
Would be similar to the k310/k320(=k310+bt).
IMO Z770/780 is just like K600/608. Same phone, slightly different shells.
from my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing. |

It's not Z780. Z780 has another keys and another camera. And in both Z780's colurs: outside - silver colour, inside - black colour. It this pic: outside - black colour, inside - black with silver.
BUT!
GPS??? Location Services??? Z780 has it.
We can see '12:10' on the screen in both phones.
I think, it's first version of Z780. Which is cancelled.

I agree with Maximys. You can clearly see the Z770 in the bottom left part of the pics. We saw how the protos of Z770 looked like, retail unit is slightly different. Same story with this design. If the specs are 100 percent the same, I also agree with WhiteEye that this might be an operator-exclusive version, e.g. for T-Mobile like K608. |

OK, here's quick made picture of all 3 phones:
For me it looks like another color variant of Z780i, but as we can see, little bit another front design. Or just branded Z770i. But compare if you can (I know, picture of opened Z780 is a poor quality): softkeys, call buttons, numeric keypad etc. between Z780i & unknown one. Looks for me better as another color variant of Z780i... but who knows...

I agree that it could be a carrier-specific version of the Z770...or perhaps it's a Z770 prototype and isn't its own device at all (though this would seem to be a contradiction with the whitepaper). |
