@Derek456
There is a thread dedicated to posting pictures taken with the S700.

I have had a S700i for a few days now and I am very pleased with it. I had a P900 before which is a better phone with the exception of the camera and the size.
The most annoying thing with the S700i is that you cant change the message tones (Well I can't) However you can do this on the K700i So I would have exspected to be able to do it on the S700i

@ian986
There is the option to change the message tone to one of 7 inbuilt sounds, but you cant add your own. It has the same option as the K700 in this respect. The place to change the tone is in mesages/ options. BTW welcome to Esato. Have a nice stay.

First of all, welcome to Esato. Secondly, what do you mean when you say that you can chnage the message tones on the K700? As far as I, and others, are aware, one can only select from a predefined list, is this what you mean?

I have changed the message tone on my friends K700i to one I sent him off of my P900. So that is why I cant belive that you can do it on the S700i. If anyone is has a p900 they will know what the suspence tone sound like (pyscho Knife ) he has that as his message alert.

Ian,
I'm intrigued (and wonder whether your method will work with a S700)...
How did you change it? Ie, save the file where, and change what to make it work? |

To be honest I cant remember how I did it,But was quite easy to do it when I see him next I will try and work it out.
It was really easy did it in 10 mins as well as sending him mp3 by bluetooth.Took me a lot longer to work out how to change ring tones to diffrent contacts |

Uless your "friend" has a K700 with some sort of prototype SE OS, you're talking out of your butt. You can send ringtones to your heart's content all day to a K700, but you CANNOT use them for the SMS alert. You can only use the built-in SMS alerts. |

@Rashkae
I think we should give the chap the benfit of the doubt; he has offered proof so why not wait until we have seen that proof?
@ian986
If you can post some sort of proof then that would be most appreciated.

Ian, we're not saying you're lying. But you would be the first person ever to manage this - so please let the whole world know how you did it!!! |

I got it on o2 100 online for £200, £25 a month, im only 16 and it cost me an arm and a leg but it was worth it!! The bulid quality is spot on, the screen is outstanding, and the photo quality is suprisigly good (but overhyped) i love the radio and mp3 quality is great, only problem is i havent got enough money for a bigger memory stick!!! This is my first SE, and its dead easy to use and blows my old samsung e700 out of the water!! Best phone ive ever bought!! And ive bought a lot!!!!
