I was about to import X Performance but decided not to because it has shorter battery life than I expected. |

The Xperia x was reviewed to have short battery life too , but YouTube reviewed stated otherwise . He got 6 hours plus of screen on time battery life out of the Xperia x and made it his main phone !

Hmm, I'm still iffy on whether I'm going to get the X Performance or not. In the wake of my Z Ultras digitizer breaking I've gone back to my Xperia X10a, which in itself is a bit of a torture. I did order a replacement screen/digitizer for my Z Ultra though, so I'll see how my repair attempts go I suppose.
As we're already at the halfway point in the year I'm hoping to at least get a chance to see what IFA brings. |

I don't know what these reviewers really want. Sony now has the most detailed image yet they still whine and put the camera down.
Their nitpicking is making me nuts. It is obvious that there will be noise accompanied by higher details (Sony's approach) and the opposite for Samsung's approach (less noise, less details)
But it is true, Sony's algorithm sucks in low-light.

I too recently broke my Z ultra (the flexible cable and apparently it's not fixable) and now I am back to my good old friend X10i. LOL
I want to get an X but still curious about IFA announcement as well. Hopefully it's worth the wait |

I would get X.
Better battery life, similar performance, identical camera, but cheaper.
And it has radio. You loose IP68 however as the YouTube shows,
X is pretty much water resistant!

Meh, after reading initial reviews on the X Performance I decided I'll wait to see what comes out at IFA. I ordered parts to fix my Z Ultra, and even if that somehow fails I will muddle through with my X10a until then.
The X Performance seems nice and all, but so-so battery life and the significantly smaller screen than my Z Ultra are deal breakers for me. |

As always, I'm holding out hope that they'll make a flagship Ultra. I know chances are slim, but we'll have to wait and see. |
