Battery indicator is bugged on the standby screen.
55% battery left according to Device Status yet the battery indicator in the top right is still showing about 85-90% full. |

yes i noticed that too, battery indicator is not accurate .

Its very strange but omnia hd its satio opposite. The firsts bars drain much faster than the last ones. Unlike satio i get a lot of hours with only 2bars left  |

WOoooOW....people! I am a SE lover for many years, I had lot of models, but since last year I own an Omnia HD (because it appears on the market before SE). A really good phone, except the pictures in low or no light (and a little bigger than satio). So I decided to change it for Satio...Now after reading this problems, I think that I was about to make a biiig mistake. Come on...so many bugs? why samsung can make lot of changes to a good software, and the SE programmers can not?!
Really sorry guys, but HD hasn't that bugs (almost none of it )...and I dont want to praise samsung.
Sorry that I cannt rejoin esato group with a new SE, but you open my eyes... |

Uncertain if this has been mentioned in the other posts but the time on Satio runs slow, I've heard other owners with this issue so I assume it is an algorithm issue.
It loses approx. 10-15mins/week |

In apps, phone registers taps, app doesnt always respond
If I use conversations to send/reply to a message, sent folder displays number instead of contact name, would be better if choice or setting to open in conversations when new message comes in.
Name of sender or photo not displayed when new message comes in.

hi - glad someone else has mentioned the time thing. Thought I was going mad. My unbranded black Satio from CPW loses minutes every day. It also obtains inaccurate time from Network when set to auto update (Orange UK SIM). Have taken to Googling "Time in London" each morning and resetting it. As far as i can work out if you have auto time update off and don't reset your phone it'll keep time. It's weird if you switch the phone off for a period fo time it's like it loses the time it takes to log off and on, but not the time it's actually completely off. i.e. each reboot seems to lose a minute or two.
I'm personally past waiting for firmware updates now, after approx ten years of ericsson from T29 thru Satio it'll now be my last. Just haven't got the patience for something that doesn't allow you to use it's functions without handfuls of work arounds. You would think they would have learned what out the box usability does for sales of mobiles i.e. iphone. It's a shame as the phone offers glimpses of excellence.
Two last things, everytime i reset my phone, the autlock function resets itself to 1 minute. Have to undo this every time i switch on. Also, when default browser loses conecetion through genuine no signal ti'll sometimes never regain it. Errors saying "Internet cannot perform". This is despite me booting up, say Gmail or Opera, and receiving data with no probs. Exit the browser & start again and it's happy again! Just so annoying that i have to do this!

Sometimes when i unlock the phone the homescreen is only half lit, only lasts a second but still annoying,
closing the camera lens doesnt always close the camera
bluetooth connection to my pc sometimes drops and cannot reconnect. |

when doing a restore of notes it only restores the first few lines and cuts the rest off, this happens with SE suite and sync with outlook, so there must be a problem with the phone importing notes from any source |

the official sony page shows this, in the spec list.
I dont understand what it is and where its being used.

Switch from vertical to horizontal mode by rotating the phone. Whatever you're viewing will rotate to suit.

Silence the call or alarm simply by moving your hand across the camera lens

Gesture control is the ability to change the panel on the home screen by swiping your finger across the screen. Stating it as it does in the spec I suppose you would expect more but that's marketing for you. |
