Not sure if this is what you are after? But if you go to Control Panel/Connections/WLAN.
Click the downward pointinf triangle at the top, next to "WLAN". You will see "MAC Address" at the bottom. Click it and it will give you the phone's address.

I have a dlink g604t router which has worked great ever since I got my p990. My biggest problem has been the phone which crashes a lot, yes I do have the latest f/w and the phone is unbranded. My question is why goes the phone not show how much data has been sent/received yet it tells me how long I've been connected for. Also my total connection time is 79 day, only had it for 3 weeks!
Also how do I change the browser to display web pages as normal html?

JUST CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT... ADD SEEK YOUR HOME CONNECTION SELECT IT SELECT THE SECURITY SETTINGS ACCORDIN 2 UR WLAN N SAVE THE NEW ACCOUNT... NEXT TIME U TRY TO CONNECT THERE WILL BE A BOX ASKING YOU 2 CONNECT THE NEW ACCOUNT U HAVE JUST CREATED OR EITHER THE PRESET ONE SELECT THE NEW ACCOUNT U CREATED AND ENJOY THE WLAN.... DO IT 4 ALL THE NEW CONNECTIONS U FIND OUTDOORS IF NOT U WILL ALWAYS RECEIVE THE SAME MESSAGE SERVER NOT FOUND |

I got the P990i just today....
I am able to connect to the router but when I try surfing on the phone no website loads up... Any advice???
I access the Router Stuff off the phone....... but no website... the connection is live then becomes inactive.... any advice
Im using Netgear WGR614 Router.
Any advice would be appreciated
TO GET IP ADDRESS SETTINGS PLEASE FOLLOW:-
Goto TOOLS then CONTROL PANEL then CONNECTIONS then INTERNET ACCOUNTS.
SELECT the WIRLESS Account.... GOTO the Where it says WLAN setup and click on the arrow facing down and there you have it.

Naz, try another router if you can to see if that works. I had the same problem with my Safecom router, i tried a linksys router which worked. To be honest the P990i does not work well with all routers even though it scans it perfectly!!

I have no other router here.
The N91 worked... after trying the 1000 times... 
I will delete the settings and try again FRESH and see if that works. Not really too botherd... If it works great and if it dont... WOTEVA.... It would be nice though...

Cheers... Will mess around near work as there is an unsecure signal there... Only thing its weak so not sure if it will conect otherwise will try at 1 persons place I know... see what happens... as they have a linksys one...

I just brought this Netgear one about 3months ago and i really like using it... Dont really wanna get another one now... Im gonna try again and see how I get on.
I you using DHCP rather then IP settings???
Cause mine is set to work with IP SETTINGS

Definitely not! I've done several scan tests at various locations and the P990 can't detect most of the networks my notebook sees. The signal level needs to be close to 100% for the P990 to detect the Wi-Fi network and this is with a full battery |
