P990 WLAN problems |

hey folks,
I just bought the p990 and I was excited to take it home and try the WiFi the phone has, but I haven't been able to connect to my internet service properly. The phone says I'm connected to my wireless network but nothing ever gets recieved or sent, the globe flashes from time to time. And when I go and use the Web program, it says it can't locate the server. My router recognised my phone and MAC address, but does having no host name makes things harder?
Here are my router settings if that helps in solving this case:
- Belkin ADSL router
- WPA-PSK secured
- Firewall/ NAT/ DHCP Server all Enabled
- ESSID Broadcast
Has anyone else experienced the same problem and fixed it?

Are you sure you entered the right WPA-PSK code correctly? Do you use DCHP or Manual IP settings? Because your definately not logged onto the network.

Hmm strange. And you don't have MAC filtering enabled?

it seems to be certain modems or routers. Mine works great in the office but not at home |

Are you sure the router isn't set to g only? p990 only support the slower b. (hope I didn't mixed g and b now.. its late! )

Yeh, I use a Belkin ADSL high speed wireless G router. And yes I'm on Vodafone, though I don't think its a network problem as I've been on the web with a Vodafone wap account and it works a OK
Is everyone who is experiencing the same problem as me use the same type of G router?
