Jesus mario, your on a mobile forum what do you expect?
If you want to talk about less trivial issues, make your views heard in...well... what one might call a more "serious" forum.
I'm more than willing to discuss/debate it, but a pre-release thread of a mobile phone, in the general section of a phone forum really isn't the place let's face it.
....As for the P990i, I was hoping to have it this month, i'm going off to Dubai at the start of July and wanted a phone before that and before my other holidays after, I guess i'm gonna go with a M600i now unless it gets a near release date

if you're going to Dubai, you could stop off at Qatar, it's a cheap flight and is only 20 mins away.
Qatar will have any phone before anywhere else that's for sure.
(or some expensive places in Dubai)

OK, now the bad news. The local Vodafone Store manager in St Helens, UK, saw the SonyEriccson rep three days ago, and was told that the P990i will not now be released until August (it was supposed to be June).
I now have my third broken Flip on my aging P800 - I have been waiting ages for SE to release a successor to this with 3G - and it looks like I will have to buy a new Flip, rather than use it in Flip off mode for yet more time.
